Meet our Head of Service

Is our Head of Service here at Just Be Kids Nursery. Lorraine has 18 years’ experience as a Head of Service within the early Years sector and has won a wide range of awards and accreditations for her passion and commitment to providing high quality childcare. Her commitment to Inclusive practice and care, allows her to ensure every child is supported to meet their full potential.

In 2016 Lorraine was named NMT Nursery Manager of the Year. In 2017 won NMT Top 5 Most Inspirational leaders in UK. Then in 2018 she was award NMT UK top 10 Most Influential leaders with Early Years. She has worked with the SSSC, Care Inspectorate and Early Years Scotland to share good practice and highlight the Importance of community engagement and partnership working.

Lorraine is excited and committed to ensuring every child and their families can access high quality creative and Innovated care daily here at Just Be Kids. Lorraine has a Post Graduate Diploma Childhood Practice, Master Early Years, BA Learning Difficulties & Education and is a qualified assessor and lecturer in Social Service Children & Young People. She is a qualified trainer in First Aid and Forest School. 

Our fully qualified staff team are committed and passionate about their role within the nursery. The staff team have a wide range of champion roles and create a wide range of different play and learning experiences for the children across the different age ranges.  Lorraine is passionate about providing high quality care and learning. Lorraine supports her team daily and encourages them to use Innovation and creativity to make everyday fun and engaging for all.
