Nursery 9 C's Principle
Here that the nursery we use a 9 C's Principle. We focus on Child Centred Care, Cuddles & Connections, Communication, Creativity, Curiosity through play , Community , Culture and Continuous Personal Development.
Aims and Objectives:
To provide a safe, friendly and stimulating Innovating environment.
To encourage each child to develop at their own pace and achieve their full potential using child led play and learning.
To work in partnership with parents, families and our wider community. Allowing children to feel valued and part of the community we live in.
We operate a key worker system throughout the nursery. This helps the children to settle in quickly and feel secure in their new surroundings. It also ensures that a thorough knowledge of the child's needs can be established and supported daily by the staff team. Staff will communicate daily with all parents, sharing important information and daily personal care updates.
On registration to the nursery each child will be supported through the transition and an online portfolio set up. This will allow staff to share your child's learning and achievements. Staff will track, observe and record regular observations. Children help to create their own next steps and staff support them when trying new experiences. The nursey uses a child centred approach when caring for your child. Staff will be able to chat through our message App and answer questions quickly.
Parents work with staff to create an individual care plan which staff update at regular intervals. The nursery host parent appointments twice a year. This allows parents and staff time to share information and achievements.
